So, about that new LG G7 ThinQ controversial notch, why don’t we just treat it as an additional screen (like what LG put as “new second screen”). Because it actually is, the current screen ratio is 2:1 right? The notch adds 1 inch onto that screen to act as additional screen. So I’m hoping that LG or Google have something planned to make use of those extra screen and not just using it to display the status bar. I mean, put some contextual shortcut key there for when we play some media or something.
Some fun key facts:
- LG G7 ThinQ hides its new second screen through the notch, adds a new boombox speaker and a new superbright display.
- LG G7 ThinQ retains the quad DAC audio, dual camera with wide angle, audio jack, microsd slot, wireless charging, and ip68 rating.
- LG G7 ThinQ upgrades the wide angle camera to 16MP, the front facing camera to 8MP, the processor to 845 Snapdragon, a dedicated button for Google Assistant, and a separate power button.
